Complex Commercial Litigation Sr. Associate/Counsel (2016-2018 JD)

The DC office of a highly regarded international law firm has an immediate opportunity for a Sr. Associate to Counsel-level complex civil litigator with 6-8+ years of substantive litigation experience (2016-2018 JDs). Qualified candidates will possess significant experience taking and defending depositions, handling all manner of discovery and motions issues, in-court arguments and hearings, producing memoranda and briefs, and exposure to various court and pre-trial proceedings. Excellent law school academics and a genuine interest in taking on increased responsibility immediately within a practice covering a broad range of litigation subjects (i.e., real estate, construction, complex civil) are required. Preferred experience will demonstrate extensive involvement in Construction and Real Estate-driven litigation matters. This position will provide access to engaging and challenging cases, a well-respected and established DC office, partner accessibility, and immediate substantive responsibilities. Admission to the DC and VA Bars (or waiver eligibility) and experience in the VA State and Federal Courts is required. USDC or US CoA Clerkship experience is a plus but is not required.
